Beongyu name means Tiger, but he is often called 'Bamgyu' and ‘Cookie’, he is the center and visual of the group. He is the mood maker of the group.

He was born in Daegu, South Korea. He has an older brother. He studies at Hanlim Multi-Arts School and has been a trainee under BigHit for 3 years.

He can play guitar. Like his older brother Soobin, both has dimples that makes then charming and unique persons.
Beomgyu has the Daegu Satoori accent.

He is an ARMY. Beomgyu’s favorite colors are pink and white. Beomgyu has his own studio and used to stay up all night writing songs for his members.
