He was born in Busan, South Korea. He has a younger brother. He went to Global Cyber University – Theatre and film major.

His favorite colors are blue and black. He enjoy music and dancing. His role model is TaeYang of BIGBANG. According to members he is the one who changed the most since their debuts.

He release his solo album "FACE" on March 23, with the title track "set me free" and "Like crazy".
