RM name stands for “Real Me”, he is the leader despite his tough and imposant posture, he is very playful and loves art, chilling and relaxing activities.

He was born in Seoul and lived in Ilsan, South Korea when he was 4. He has a younger sister. He went to Apgujeong High School, Global Cyber University – Electronic engineering major. He studied languages in New Zealand for 4 months. He learned how to speak English by watching series, he is very clever.

His favorite colors are black, pink, and purple. He is a big advocated for lgbtqia+ rights. He changed his stage name from Rap Monster to RM.

He released his first solo mixtape, “RM” on March 17, 2015.
